Cross Wedding At Water's Edge Resort and Spa, Westbrook, CT

I've photographed Cat and Adam's wedding voyage from start to finish; from engagement photographs to covering their engagement party and bridal shower. With all these wonderful events building anticipation, you can only imagine how excited I was to photograph their wedding day on July 5th, at the Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Connecticut. 

I have gotten to know this couple so well during their journey to their wedding day, and it was my absolute pleasure to spend my birthday capturing their big day. I was brought close to tears when they had their band sing me "Happy Birthday" at the reception, only testifying how sweet this couple truly is. I know their marriage will be as sweet and caring as their personalities, which I've gotten to know so well over the past year.

Speaking of sweet people will fabulous personalities, I want to personally (and publicly) thank one of my all-time besties, Jessica, from Brigham & Co. photography, for second shooting with me during this fantastic wedding. Thank you for spending my birthday with me, and thank you for helping me document this magical day so beautifully!

Friends are the best blessing in life; whether they're old ones helping you out when you need them the most, or new ones you get to know with the lens of your camera.

Ten Twenty Post; Darien, Connecticut, Bridal Shower

It is Spring once again (yay!), and with Spring comes wedding season... and what wedding would be complete without a lovely, rose adorned, Bridal Shower?

Ten Twenty Post, in Darien, Connecticut, is a beautiful venue for the contemporary bride with a flair for the vintage and a hint of a throwback of an old french cafe. The atmosphere is warm, inspiring, and inviting. Mix a killer environment with a bunch of excited women, some great food, and lots of laughs from a soon-to-be bride, and you have yourself a recipe for a memorable, and classy, Bridal Shower Affair.
