A Sneak Peek: Yesterdays Wedding at The Mill On The River In South Windsor, CT

There are a few reasons why yesterday was absolutely fabulous:

1. The weather was the perfect-quintessential-crisp (yet not too cool)-New England-beginning of Fall-weather... and it just so happens that the beginning of Fall in New England is one of my absolute favorite times of year (it's a neck and neck tie with the Holidays).

 

2. Much more importantly, it was Laura and Brian's wedding day at The Mill on the River in South Windsor, CT!

Compo Beach In Westport, CT: A Navy Blue Family Session To Bring Summer To An End

Awesome family. Awesome personalities. Awesome Morning. Awesome photographs.

 

Jessica, Joe, and their kids chose Compo Beach in Westport, CT as the location for their family portrait session. With such cool nights the past few days (and the runny nose I've suffered as a result) I was a little nervous for the weather this morning, but it turned out to be the perfect morning! It may have been one of the last real Summer mornings we have this year, but I couldn't have thought of a better way to utilize it than by using it for a background for this awesome family photo session.

 

 

 I have to give MAJOR credit and applause to momma Jess for coming up with such an adorable wardrobe for her family! The navy blue with the pop of yellow and red? Ugh, a decorators dream! We planned this family portrait session within a few days, and I am totally impressed by the outfits she coordinated for her family with the time given.

 

Enjoy these last mornings of Summer while the getting's good! Fall is on the way and sooner than you think we will be saying goodbye to beach days and hello to hot apple cider and pumpkin picking. I love this time of year.
